The light quality of the frit allowed for a nuanced and subtle title wall echoing the main themes of ephemerality and fragmentation.

Traces of Words also had a small satellite exhibit in one of the permanent museum galleries. It featured historic examples of Asian calligraphy. Graphically, it needed to connect to the main exhibition.
